Cycling to Burn Fat

How to lose weight with cycling

Cycling to Burn Fat

BURN FAT. NOT OIL

This shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone, but biking will burn fat!

This reason alone should be enough to spur more people to get into biking. In addition to that, you can save a lot of money; money that you can spend on things you want, money that would normally get sucked into your gas tank.

Healthier Life

What’s more important than your health? We want you to be around for a very long time.

Cycling can be a great way to start down the path to a better, healthier life. Instead of riding in a car, go on a bike (if the distance is feasible of course). Depending on how much you weigh and how intense your sessions are, you can burn anywhere between 400 to 500 calories in a single hour.

When you turn bike riding into a real workout and hit inclines hard, you’re going to build the muscles of your legs; the quads, hamstrings and calf muscles are all going to be impacted. They will grow and become more lean with continued, regular biking.

Over time this will increase your metabolic rate, meaning you’ll burn more calories during rest. Depending on your weight and overall health, your metabolic rate could increase just after your first bike-ride.

You’re also going to get a stronger core, because cycling incorporates the back and abdominal muscles. This can be hugely beneficial to an overall weight-loss goal.

Don’t Forget Diet!
All forms of exercise are great; we highly encourage you to be doing something rather than nothing. But healthy, active routines will be for naught if you do not have a well balanced diet. You should start to look at whole foods; whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and avoid processed foods.

Combine a healthy diet with cycling and you WILL get a better, stronger, leaner body!
