Assault = Yum + Respectable

FullSpike.com tested out MusclePharm's Assault. Overall it's definitely a solid product.

Taste
For this review we chose Watermelon. This is arguably one of the best tasting supplements we've ever tried.

Serving Size Effectiveness
It took two scoops before we could feel the pins and needles, but even we didn't feel a huge surge of energy. In the third scoop we felt a gradual energy increase.

Solubility
Mixes 'okay' but a few chunks stick the side of your cup. We ended up gobbling those down as we neared the bottom of our cups

Defecation
No problems here. In fact we didn't feel a need to use the bathroom at all. It and our stomachs agree very well!

Activation Time
It took about an average of 20 minutes we started to feel a bit more lively.

Sensation Level
We did get the pins and needles after two scoops, which was nice.

Duration
The effects last for about one and a half hours. Not the longest, but not bad either

Performance
We noticed that our energy levels were increased in the gym, but not outrageously.

Sleep
For our test we took Assault at just after 6PM. We had no issues falling asleep.

Final Thoughts

Good energy. Awesome taste!
For us, MusclePharm Assault has always provided us with good energy. We can easily say that, while not the most potent pre workout, it is definitely one of the most reliable pre workouts out there.
