Super Pump Max Review

A pre-workout supplement by Gaspari Nutrition.

Super Pump Max Review

SuperPump Max = Yum + Pump

(FullSpike) SuperPump MAX, developed by Gaspari Nutrition is a pre-workout supplement that claims to promote muscle building, muscle endurance and energy.

Taste:
SuperPump tasted pretty awesome for a bodybuilding supplement; Kind of like tarty flavored Gatorade that tingles your tongue. We liked it a lot compared to other supplements. Great job Gaspari Nutrition!!

Serving Size Effectiveness:
We averaged 1 and a half scoops per training session. We did not want to go beyond 2 scoops, as we felt that should be more than sufficient for the average person.

Solubility:
Dang this stuff is annoying to mix up. Regardless of how much we stirred, there was still residue floating around in our cup. Plan on chewing a little powder when you take this stuff - it was weird.

Defecation:
No effect on bowel movement, and we did not have to use the bathroom after taking it. How'd they pull that one off?

Activation Time:
This product doesn't really kick in per se. The way you REALLY notice if SuperPump Max is working, is by your strength gains and endurance.

Sensation Level:
None, and we didn't expect to. This product wasn't designed to produce any type of sensation.

Duration:
Really good. We had some of our better workouts with SuperPump Max.

Performance (does SuperPump Max increase performance in the gym)
We experienced good performance gains in the gym.

Sleep (does SuperPump Max affect your sleep)
SuperPump Max did not affect our ability to sleep.

Final Thoughts on SuperPump Max

Gaspari Nutrition has a great reputation in the bodybuilding community, so we went into this review with fairly high expectations. To our surprise, Super Pump Max performed good, but not nearly as good as the old SuperPump 250.

We had to go up to 1 and half scoops for this test which was a little expected as we are building tolerance to energy supplements. We did experience a good pump, decent increase in strength, slight increase in energy.

It tasted quite good for a preworkout supplement; better than most, so no complaints in the taste department. It dissolved poorly in water, which caused us to have to chew a bit of the powder. Thumbs down there.

The price point is on the high end at $50.00 per container claiming 40 servings (1.41 lbs (640g), and considering we took 3 scoops for this test - our servings per container dropped from 40 down to 13. That put SuperPump Max at approximately $3.85 per serving. No Thanks. There really isn't anymore to discuss on this product as it's way overpriced, and does not perform as we expected.
